AJC.com Addendum

The article on AJC.com published January 5, 2016 made mention that we would be closing after 41 years. We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify that we are looking to relocate and that our current location will not close until we are asked to be removed.  We do not anticipate that to be anytime before the beginning of the second quarter of this year.

Thank you for all the well wishes, please follow us on Facebook to keep up with the latest updates.

We appreciate your patronage.

Proceeds from this years event will be donated to two (2) non-profit organizations:

Lindbergh-La Vista Corridor Coalition – The Lindbergh LaVista Corridor Coalition (LLCC) is a non-profit corporation comprised of residents, business owners, and property owners in northeast Atlanta whose mission is to redefine and revitalize the community we serve. We are governed by a Board of Directors that includes community activists, business leaders, neighborhood association presidents and property owners. By utilizing community- driven design principles and advocating for sustainable building practices, LLCC’s goal is to improve the quality of life in our community. We strive to better connect our people, residences, businesses, schools, greenspaces and watershed by collaborating with private and public stakeholders to maintain the historic integrity of our residential neighborhoods while revitalizing our surrounding commercial corridors.

Marcus Autism Center – Marcus Autism Center is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism and related disorders, treating approximately 5,000 children a year. Marcus Autism Center offers services with the generous philanthropic support of community leaders and funding from local and state governments. The Marcus Autism Center staff of highly trained pediatric professionals is supported by research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

With comprehensive services and evidence-based treatments, families can receive diagnosis, treatment and support in a single location. Treating patients across Georgia and the Southeast, Marcus Autism Center is the comprehensive resource for children with autism and related disorders.
